⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼ Eden ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

The mirror to Aether and itself.

The world itself is full of colors and life and it's most important item, the Sacred Mirror.

Most say it was a gift from the stars or that it was there from the start, both are correct in a sense. The mirror is the reason why the world exists, it reflects the world in front of it. After it was shattered the place soon feel apart, reflecting itself and making Lepis and Pteron.

The people that populate this garden are called Lepidopterans, who evolved from butterflies and moths.

They later become closer to humans but, as of the current time, they are not there yet.

⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼ Everton ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

The giant city that contains most of the population.

It’s main area is the marketplace which holds a lot of goods and social gatherings. The entire place is known for it’s strange history with the Sacred Mirror and that most of the history has been forgotten.

The individuals who live in the world, mostly referring to those who live in Terra

People who bare the ability of the cards, a gift from the stars after wishing for protection. It was the last wish that was granted before the stars rained onto the world and barely any could be seen in the night sky, their remains could be found near a mountain and traded in for goods.

Not much is known about Gaia.

Clearwing River

The river that connects from the ocean that surrounds the land.

All water is drinkable. The river is said to be so clear you can always see the riverbed and fish underneath it.

Lunar Village

Everton’s neighboring village.

A town that since refused to change it's name according to it's size.

Bagworm Lake

A lake with only one person living near it.

The lake itself is nothing special with the exception of the large amounts of the bagworm moths that live there that the lake is named after. Thankfully, the foliage has adapted to them.

Farmlands

The farms for the city, they mostly produce sugar as the locals main diet is sugar based foods.

⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼  Wish Mountain  ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

A very tall mountain that is nearly impossible to climb.

It’s known for the stardust you can collect there which then can be sold or traded in Lunar village. People used to climb up the mountains to look on the stars who granted every wish they could. All there is to do is collect the stardust that is scattered among the place. The night sky could be seen as mostly dark with barely any stars left even with all lights off.

There is one major star however, the North Star. It is believed to be cursed and to never be wished on since people believed if you waste your wish on it, your wish will never come true.

⎼⎼⎼ Moonlit village ⎼⎼⎼

Sister village to Lunar village. Also known as "Wishing Well"

People moved there to escape a war from a long time ago, with promises from the moon to be protected and spared from war and to be reborn into paradise.

They do not worship the stars and the sun unlike people from Lunar Village, who were promised power and knowledge from the sun.

People who worship the moon cannot wish on the stars and have grown horns which means they are under the protection of the current moon.

They live right next to the Wish Mountain and often enjoy the tourism of people who wish to climb it to sell the dust they find.

⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼  Dusty Meadow  ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

A meadow that surprisingly has no shadows in the area. It’s known for its flowers and the occupants. Which are the moths in Lepis and butterflies in Pteron. Along with the moths in Lepis, a fairy species named Paerins live there.  They remain mostly invisible to the Lepidopterans and often steal or play tiny pranks such as moving your keys somewhere else. Can be harmful if you manage to anger them however. They sound like birds and often if you hear bird sounds there might be some paerins playing around you, it's best to mind your business and pretend that they're not there. They often lay their eggs in or around flowers and leave them there for the flowers to take care of them as in return they bring food for the flowers.

⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼  Sacred Mirror  ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

The mirror that connects both worlds, it used to be a place of common travel and trades before it was broken years ago.

Most people who are old think that the shadow folk that infest the forest has something to with it broken, like the balance between the worlds was damaged. Lepis and Pteron are nothing but legends to each other now. Those who live in the reflection called Pteron, nothing is much known except that they are shadows.

Most believe they are shadows of the dead but lost their sense of their formal selves a long time ago and with their only option to continue existing is to survive on other's lives. They continue to leak into Lepis causing harm to the individuals and making the forest in Lepis a place to disappear.

Rumors say you can find the current moon on the other side.

 ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼ Star Catcher's Cliff  ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼

A cliff that has eroded away by the nearby river down to a soft hill.

Which in return the river itself has decreased in size over the years.

Water spirits and fairies live there but cannot be seen by the average person.

despite the artistic style pasta tends to draw, lepidopterans have black tongues and insides. They also lack pupils at all, sharing a few traits of their ancestors, butterflies, which are compounded. Evolution is trying to undo that.

Even if they look "animal-like" they're ancestors of insects! Their hair they stylize is just scales, which resembles a lot more like hair nowadays. They often have longer portions of hair over their actual ears and it's currently popular in Everton to style them like animal ears (It's cute!) but cutting the hair off serves no harm (except style)
